Well its dewali today the festival of lights. There used to be a time when as a kid i would get excited at the prospect of lighting all crackers and have a lot of fun at dewali. There used to be preparations days before and gun fights with toy guns all over neighbourhood.
But today as i sit in my room in my college there no excitment, there is no fun , i havent done anything especial on my last 2 diwalis here in my college. Although a few students buy crackers but i dont feel a need to celebrate dewali without the family. I feel so old today. Its like i have lived an entire life. Nothing to look forward to and nothing to fall back on...
